Readying herself to judge another dance reality show after Nach Ve,Nach Baliye and Jhalak Dikhla Ja,veteran dancer claims Chak Dhoom Dhoom would be different. “Even when judging children aged between 5 and 14 would be tough,to see them dance would be fulfilling,” she says adding that children would be given an opportunity to showcase a variety of dance forms like Indian,Salsa,western,hip–hop and break dance,among others on the show. In love with the energy and exuberance of kids,while judging,Saroj will focus only on the aesthetics of dance. “For other nuances,Ahmed Khan and Vindu Dara Singh will give me company,” says the main judge of the show that aims at selecting ‘Best Junior Dancing Star’ from across the country. “In case of kids,more than being critical you have to inspire,motivate and encourage them to excel,” says the 61-year-old choreographer of Tezab(Ek do,teen)-fame who was accompanied with another judge Vindu Dara Singh and host Parvesh Rana. Busy giving final touches to a Broadway show based on Amrapali,Saroj discloses: “The show is for foreign audience and I hope to begin soon.” Not doing any films as choreographer,Saroj has given up hope of directing a movie. “The heroine with whom I had to work ditched me,” she says,adding there was dates problem with Priyanka Chopra,so had to give up the idea of directing a film. She announcd her dance academy will come up in Lucknow soon.

Tears Wiped

EVER since Vindu Dara Singh won Bigg Boss,he cannot stop smiling. “All those tears were for the house which brought me into limelight,” he reveals. Vindu is gearing up to play a different role altogether. “I will play a judge who will be like a father figure,” he reveals adding like parents he would “evaluate kids critically,encourage and motivate them to perform better each time.” —EFS
