‘Dubai-like’ towers to come up in Lucknow

For High Income Group people.

To cater to the demand of housing by high income (HIG) group people,the Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Board (UPHDB) is going to develop 18-storey apartments — Everest Enclave — in Lucknow. The towers,having four-flats on each floor,would be designed like the state-of-art buildings of Dubai. Everest Enclave will be highest apartment tower in the state capital.

In the first phase,UPHDB will open bookings for 148 flats that will be in two towers to be developed in Vridavan housing scheme on Rae Bareli road in Lucknow. Both the towers will also have helipad on the rooftop. UPHDB decided to develop such apartments after receiving demand from Indian citizens living abroad like Dubai,Canada,USA and business towns like Mumbai and Kolkata. UPHDB received the demand when it started on-line applications for Awadh Vihar housing schemes recently.

“During online booking,we received applications from different cities and countries. We also received suggestions from Dubai and Canada where people asked us to develop flat as per their demand,” said R P Singh,Housing Commissioner.

Singh said UPHDB will develop 216 flats of 3BHK with study room. These flats will be on super area of 202 sq metre area and cost Rs 75.62 lakh. Same number of flats of 4BHK with study/servant room category would be provided at cost of Rs 85.72 lakh. These flats will be on super area of 226.35 sq metre. “Bookings would be opened for 74 flats of each category from next week. These will be the costliest flats in highest multi-storey apartments developed by UPHDB,” Singh said.

About the facilities proposed in these apartments,Singh said that helipads would be on two towers. Each flat would be equipped with three air conditioners,video door phone electronic interlock and modular kitchen. The campus will have three-tier security system with CCTV cameras,separate drop-off zone for allottees,separate lifts for people and goods,swimming pool,community centre,fitness centre,restaurant,small indoor games and a market.

Singh also announced to open bookings for another 640 flats in 2BHK,3BHK and BHK with study/servant rooms category in this month. These flats would be developed in 11-storey towers in Vrindawan housing scheme.

Singh said that UPHDB is going to develop high-rise apartments in Kanpur for the first time. He said 2BHK flats in 15-storey apartments and 3BHK-withstudy-room flats in 11-storey apartments would be developed in Ambedkarpuram Scheme-3 in Kanpur. These flats would be in four categories and their cost will vary from Rs 40.89 lakh to 44.79 lakh. Bookings for 88-such flats there would be opened soon. UPHDB will soon open bookings for 64 houses of Economic Weaker Section category,37 of low income group,eight of middle income groups and 53 houses of HIG categories in Saharanpur district.
