A Chinese national was arrested today along the Indo-Nepal border in Maharajganj district of UP while trying to entering into India.

A Chinese national was arrested today along the Indo-Nepal border in Maharajganj district of UP while trying to entering into India. Our jawans posted in the Sonauli area caught Danbaraojie while frisking tourists travelling in a Nepal-bound bus. The Chinese nationals passport and visa was valid only for Nepal. We have handed him over to the Maharajganj police, said the DIG (Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

Maharajganj SP Dr Sanjiv Gupta said,Danbaraojie had travelled to Delhi a week ago from where he had gone to Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh. He was arrested while returning from New Delhi en route to Nepal. A case under Passport Act has been registered against him at the Sonauli police station. A joint team of IB,SSB and the police are quizzing him with the help of a translator.
