Brother rapes minor,held

“I went to other room,which is adjacent to the room where Rajesh was having food,to sleep. He entered the room around 10.30 pm and forced himself on me. I shouted but he put hands on my mouth and raped me. When he went out I started screaming due to pain,after which the neighbours came to my rescue,” the minor has alleged in the FIR,which has been registered at the Sector-58 police station.

The police said the girl had returned home a few days ago from her relative’s house in Jagannathpur,Shajahpur. Her father,Hemraj,died a few years ago and the her mother had gone to Shajahpur with her younger brother Umesh (8).

The family had moved into the two-room rented house in Chotpur Colony 15 days ago. Earlier,the family was living in Khoda colony and the girl was living at the relative’s house. Rajesh works as rickshaw-puller.

“The neighbours told us that the boy is addicted to drugs.

After the FIR was registered,Rajesh arrested. He will be produced in the court. We are trying to contact the family of the victim as well,” said H N Singh,Superintendent of Police (City).

The victim,meanwhile,has been admitted to the district hospital. A senior doctor at the hospital,Amit Kumar,said: “The girl was brought to us around 11.30 pm,she was semi-conscious. She has been kept under observation.”
