Anshul’s century in Sanwal cricket

Anshul Mehrotra blasted a century as his team— HDFC Bank defeated RBI by 140 runs in their league match of the 20th RC Sanwal Memorial Inter Bank Cricket Tournament for the PNB Cup,at Chowk Stadium,Lucknow on Tuesday.

Brief Scores: HDFC Bank: 225 for six in 20 overs ( Anshul Mehrotra 110,Azeem Rehman 32,Kuldeep 24; Anil Arya 2 for 27,Puneet Verma 2 for 47); RBI: 85 for nine in 20 overs ( Anil Arya 34,M Shuja 3 for 12,Azeem 2 for 11).

Cricket trials

The under-19 district level cricket trials were organised at KD Singh ‘Babu’ Stadium,Lucknow on Monday. Joint secretary Cricket Association Lucknow (CAL) ML Mishra informed that about 300 boys participated on day-one of the two day trials. After the district trials,the regional trials will be organised on May 21 and 22 at the same venue.
