40 new courses at Ambedkar varsity

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU),a central university,has decided to start nearly 40 new courses. The decision was taken at the meeting of the academic council under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor R C Sobti on Tuesday.

The university expects to start nearly half of these from the next academic session. The council also approved fee waivers for single girl child and ‘brilliant’ candidates coming from BPL and SC/ST families.
