Rain may play spoilsport to Rahmanishq,AR Rahman’s concert in the city Tuesday. While weathermen are predicting a wet Tuesday,organisers and performers are keeping their fingers crossed.

The Mozart of Madras,however,is excited about the concert. “Kolkata will always be my favourite and I say this wherever in the world I go to perform,” he said.

He added that a lot of technology will be used for tomorrow’s performance and I hope the audience love it.”

Referring to whether he intended to open a music school here in Kolkata,he said,“We already have a school in Chennai and a lot of students from Bengal,Gujarat and other parts of the country are coming there. opening an institute without being me being present will not be of much use as I will be busy with my assignments.”

Singer Sukhwinder Singh,who will be performing with Rahman,said despite the advent of technology in music,what mattered was content.
