At a time the face-off between the government and the SEC continues,Trinamool general secretary Mukul Roy yet again attacked state election commissioner Pandey. Roy also threatened to demonstrate with the dead body of the person who dies due to the heat during the season when the election will be held.
This is a notorious example of an election commissioner working for the opposition party. The commissioner is intentionally delaying the election. After retirement,they take up these jobs with relish,but our workers work in the field. So we are warning the commission that if due to unnecessary delay,any of our workers die from the heat,we will take the body to the office of the commissioner and demonstrate, he said today.
Repeating his allegation that the SEC was leaning towards the Opposition,Roy said,The Opposition party does not want the election to take place and that is why the commissioner is intentionally doing this. The government has issued the notification after abiding all rules and regulations.
