The education department on Friday extended the term of Calcutta University Vice-Chancellor Suranjan Das by another six months.

The education department on Friday extended the term of Calcutta University Vice-Chancellor Suranjan Das by another six months. Das’s term was scheduled to end on 30 April. The extension comes after Das was inducted into a seven-member committee to amend the University Law Bill.
