A 30-year old man allegedly killed his mother and minor daughter with a sharp weapon on Tuesday in Bishnah area near Jammu. Identified as Jagdev Singh alias Michael of Morchapur village in Bishnah, police said the accused fled on a red and black motorcycle after the incident. A family dispute was stated to be the cause of provocation. According to a senior police officer, the accused man’s wife had gone to her parent’s house following an argument with him a fortnight ago. Quoting construction workers at the accused person’s home, police said he had an altercation with his mother over some issue and in a fit of rage, attacked her with a sharp weapon and later his daughter.
