The Rajasthan BJP has in turn kicked off preparations. Former MLA Madanlal Saini has been appointed state in-charge and Bheeru Singh Rathore is state co-in charge for the campaign. State BJP president Ashok Pernami and Chief Minister Varundhara Raje are reportedly taking keen interest in the campaign. Saini said that workshops will be organised for state-level orators on August 30-31. These leaders will in turn train workers at the block and district levels. Rathore said that new members will be familiarised with the party ideology.

Sources said the campaign was planned as an image-building exercise, especially as the party image had recently taken a beating, and reduce complaints of party workers.
