Gujarat BJP chief C R Paatil revealed the details on Monday while addressing an event in Mehsana district’s Unjha.
“I am very happy today that Rajnibhai (Rajni Patel, the party general secretary) told me that tomorrow we are going to introduce a new party scarf at the hands of Modi Saheb. It is good…(Looking at the current party scarf) Even this is also good…The one to be given to party workers tomorrow is a woven one. But, I am not going to reveal much about it today. This (current) one is printed. I must tell the (district) president to give the new scarf to each of the workers present here (after it is introduced tomorrow),” Paatil said, addressing the workers
He added that the party workers will remember it as “a scarf launched by PM Modi”. Under Paatil’s leadership, the Gujarat BJP unit had also launched a new party cap. The cap – a saffron Gandhi topi – was launched in the run-up to the state elections in March 2022.
The function was organised to felicitate party workers from the Unjha who ensured the lead of the party in their booths by over 500 votes during the assembly elections.
In his speech, Paatil hailed the strength of party workers at booth level and said that if the party can win all the booths in elections then nobody can defeat BJP in elections for the next 15 years. He welcomed the initiative of Unjha MLA Kirit Patel of felicitating the workers and added that all others should also follow it. He also talked about ensuring that at no booth the party goes into deficit.
