Patel said that for precaution dose, the state government has already sought three lakh vaccines (Covaxin, Covishield and Corbevax). “And we are going to get the stock shortly. So, for those who want to get precaution dose, we have made arrangements,” Patel said. Patel said that currently there are around 2,220 active cases of Covid-19 in Gujarat of which five are on ventilator, six on Bipap and 11 are on oxygen. The health minister said that although there is spike in number of cases, the variant of the virus is “not very serious”.
