Two people went down to help the woman but they also got stuck there, the police said. (File photo)A woman got stuck for 35 minutes on a pillar, where she fell after she lost control of her scooty on a flyover and hit a divider in Noida’s Sector 20, on Saturday.
Two persons who went down to help the woman also got stuck. All three were finally rescued by the police and fire bridge personnel.
The incident took place around 12.45 pm when the woman, along with a friend, was travelling from Sector 18 to Ghaziabad.
Additional Commissioner of Police Manish Kumar Mishra said, “When they reached the elevated bridge near Mangal market in Sector 18, a WagonR car took a right turn after giving an indicator. The woman lost her balance and the scooty hit the median. The woman fell on the pillar and got stuck,” he said.

“We have taken the car into custody… The woman is stressed about the accident… we will talk to her after she is better,” Mishra said.
