Two days after real estate businessman Sanjay and his family were found murdered in their Old Rajinder Nagar flat, police arrested two of the assailants Tuesday. Police are conducting raids in Outer Delhi’s Begumpur area and in Uttar Pradesh to nab four more accused.

Sources said the arrested persons have been identified as Abhishek alias Rajan, and Raju, both residents of Rohini. “Abhishek was arrested from Madipur in Punjabi Bagh. During questioning, he told police that five more men were involved. Police then arrested Raju,” added the sources.

“Abhishek was a friend of Sanjay’s. He made a plan to rob him after he found out that Sanjay had made a huge amount of money through some property deal. The murder conspiracy was hatched by him,” said a source.
