Yet another designer store opened at the Gallery,MG Road,last week. This time,Mumbai-based fashion designer Vikram Phadnis launched his store along with jewellery designer Malini Agarwalla. Adding some razzmatazz was out-of-work actress Sushmita Sen,who is more often spotted on the runway than on the silver screen. Sen,as usual,fawned over the store. “It is a one stop shop. The collection is amazing. Your style should be simple and yet graceful,that is the best part of Vikram’s collection,” she said. On the racks was the elaborate bridal collection,with intricate embroidery. “This store is an amalgamation of Soulful Heritage with true urban influences. The size of the store and the uniqueness of the merchandise sets it apart from others,” said Phadnis. The opening was attended by jewellery designer Alpana Gujral,restaurateur AD Singh,socialite Tanisha Mohan,Divya Guruwara of Bridal Asia and designer Charu Parashar.
