Delhi’s high fashion brigade has a reason to rejoice. The Italian luxury brand Versace has pitched its fashion tent in Delhi’s forbiddingly plush mall,Emporio with a flagship store on Wednesday. Besides the complete range of clothes and accessories,the boutique,spread over 4000 square feet,also stocks Versace home decor and furniture. Present at the launch were a host of celebrities,including fashion designers Rohit Bal,Ravi Bajaj and Ritu Beri,former cricketer-turned-politician Mohammad Azharuddin,Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra and several others. From the look of it,the economic slowdown woes are slowly being put on the backburner.
