Professor held for molestation

A 51-year-old professor of Delhi College of Fine Arts was arrested for allegedly molesting a student inside the college premises,police said.

A 51-year-old professor of Delhi College of Fine Arts was arrested for allegedly molesting a student inside the college premises,police said. The incident took place inside the college,located at Tilak Marg,on Thursday and the professor was arrested on Friday,police said. The accused,identified as Savi Savarkar,was arrested after the victim,who is a student of Bachelor of Fine Arts,complained to the police. The sexual harassment committee of the college will take up the matter on Monday. Savarkar is married and is a resident of Ghaziabad.
