Another Southern starlet is set to make her Bollywood debut this time it is Tollywoods Kajal Aggarwal,25,who catapulted into the big league after the Telugu period drama Magadheera became a hit two years ago. She makes her Bollywood debut in Rohit Shettys remake of last years Tamil blockbuster,Singam. Known for delivering slapstick hits like the Golmaal trilogy,Shetty is shifting his gaze to south Indian cinema for the first time with this Hindi remake that will also be called Singam.

Aggarwal had nothing to do with the Tamil version of Singam but Shetty reportedly was impressed by her charm and innocence. She has worked in over 20 films in Tamil and Telugu. Aggarwal is currently neck deep in the pre-production work of the film as shooting will start in March.
