A Pataudi court Wednesday extended cow vigilante Monu Manesar’s judicial custody by another 14 days in connection with an attempt to murder case. The accused was presented before the court of sub-divisional judicial magistrate, Pataudi, Tarannum Khan, Wednesday through video conferencing after his counsel Kulbhushan Bhardwaj cited security concerns. “He will be produced again through VC as there are death threats against him,” he said. Monu had been sent to Bhondsi jail after he was produced in court on October 11. The case dates back to a clash in February in Haryana’s Pataudi. Four people had suffered injuries in the incident, including Mohin Khan, 20, who suffered a gunshot wound. On October 16, Monu was granted bail by a Nuh court for a hate speech case ahead of the Jalabhishek yatra in Nalhar temple on August 28.
