Trains on the Delhi Metros Vaishali corridor was delayed for several hours on Friday afternoon as maintenance work was carried out on the line. Trains were run on a single line from 11am to 3 pm between Anand Vihar and Vaishali stations.

With trains running at a lower frequency,there was major congestion at stations. Officials said trains in the rest of the sections ran as per schedule.
