Man stabs 18-year-old girl in Northeast Delhi, arrested
Police said both the accused and the victim were in a relationship for some time.

The accused has admitted to the crime during questioning, officers said.A 24-year-old man was arrested Friday for allegedly stabbing an 18-year-old girl in a Northeast Delhi locality.
Police said the victim was rushed to Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital, where she is under treatment.
Police said both the accused and the victim were in a relationship for some time.
“While the man was already married, 10 days ago, the girl also got married. Before her wedding, she had broken off their relationship, which left the man angry. He allegedly confronted her on Thursday and attacked her with a knife,” said an officer.
The weapon used in the attack has been recovered, the officer added.
The case came to light after the police received a call about the alleged stabbing on Thursday evening.
Police said the motive appears to be personal enmity and rejection.
The accused has admitted to the crime during questioning, officers said.
