Man kills pregnant wife

A 21-year-old man allegedly murdered his pregnant wife in Kalyanpuri on Sunday night. The woman was due to deliver twins next month. Vikrant allegedly killed Neeta (20) after an argument.

Police said investigations have revealed that the couple had an argument over dinner,which infuriated Vikrant. He took a knife from the kitchen and stabbed his wife several times. He then made a PCR call and told police about the incident. “As soon as we received the PCR call,we sent a team to the couple’s residence. Neeta had suffered several stab injuries. At the hospital,it was revealed that her twins had also suffered stab injuries,which led to their death. We have registered a case of murder and arrested Vikrant,” a police officer said.

Vikrant had married Neetu last year. Police suspect that the couple had regular arguments over his unemployment. His father runs a cable business,but Vikrant was reluctant to join his father,which led to arguments.
