Man killed after Thar collides into bike in Delhi
On August 11, three young men died after their scooty collided with a car at the Dwarka Urban Expressway between Najafgarh and Dwarka.

A man was killed after his motorcycle was hit by a Thar vehicle in West Delhi’s Moti Nagar area on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Bechu Lal, who was riding the motorcycle when the collision occurred. The police said that following the accident, the driver of the Thar fled the spot, leaving his car and the victim behind. In videos taken of the car’s interior in the aftermath of the accident, a bottle of vodka can be seen resting on the driver’s seat.
“A case of accident has been registered at Moti Nagar police station. Multiple teams have been formed to trace and apprehend the absconding driver. Legal action is being taken,” an officer said.

On August 4, a 25-year-old man named Deepak died after his bike was hit by a speeding car on Ferozshah Road in Central Delhi. The police later arrested the driver, identified as Virendra. That same day, a Zepto delivery boy was killed after an SUV, allegedly being driven rashly, crashed into his scooty in South West Delhi’s Nelson Mandela Marg. In South Delhi’s Dakshinpuri area, a 62-year-old woman died after being hit by an auto-rickshaw.
In July, two young students lost their lives in a road accident near Central Delhi’s Pusa Chambery after their bike crashed into a truck. The victims – identified as Ayush and his cousin Anubhav – were riding a bike when they reportedly crashed into the rear of a truck. The truck fled the scene, and its registration number could not be noted, said the police.
