A man was arrested for being in possession of 104 kg of marijuana (ganja),estimated to be worth around Rs 70 lakh in the international market,police said. The man,Deepal Kumar Tijori,who holds a diploma in electrical engineering,was working in a company in Gurgaon. Police said he was laid off a couple of years ago and when he did not find any other job,he turned to drug trafficking. 3 jewellers held for buying stolen goods Police have arrested three jewellers for purchasing stolen jewellery from two burglers in the Capital. Earlier,police had arrested two burglars,Nitin and Akshay,who told police about a jeweller who bought jewellery from them at 40 per cent discount. Based on the information,jeweller Deepak Verma,who runs a shop in Noida,was arrested. Verma told police that he had bought eight gold chains and four gold bangles from the burglars. Two other jewellers,Naushad Ali and Anil Choti,were also arrested for buying stolen jewellery. Chain snatcher held in Gurgaon A man was arrested on charges of robbery in Leisure Valley Park,Gurgaon,on Saturday. Nazneen Bhasin,DCP (East) said,Nainpal Singh (24) snatched the purse of a woman who was returning home from a supermarket on Thursday night. He has been involved in 18 such cases in Gurgaon alone. Two gold rings and a gold chain were found in his possession. The bike,which he used to snatch the womans chain,was also stolen.
