JNU suspends two students for porn clip

The Jawaharlal Nehru University suspended two students accused of producing a video clip of a pornographic nature,on Wednesday. “We have suspended the two students pending proctorial inquiry. They will not be allowed access to classrooms and the hostel. We have not issued a campus ban because we need them to appear for questioning,” said H B Bohidar,Chief Proctor.

The suspension order,approved by the Vice-Chancellor,was issued in the afternoon. “We have also issued a circular asking students to destroy the video clip if they have it in any form. We do not intend to check individuals for possession,but we will be vigilant,” he added.
