Nearly a week after students at Delhi University’s Indraprastha College for Women (IPCW) alleged that some men scaled its boundary wall and harassed them during their annual fest, the college authorities submitted statements of over 225 students to the Delhi Police.

Students who wished to give statements were called and their statements were recorded by the college admin, said police. Senior officers said the college principal compiled the 225 complaints/ grievances and sent them.

On Wednesday, police had bound down five students of Delhi University and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University — three from Motilal Nehru College, one from Sri Venkateswara College and one from GGSIPU — in connection with the case. They were called to the police station and later released. The students will have to remain present before the investigating officer (IO) whenever required and can’t leave the city or the country without informing the officer.
