Faridabad railway station is set to be revamped at a cost of Rs 262 crore
The revamped station will have a multi-level car parking with a capacity to house 250 four-wheelers and 350 two-wheelers.

The Northern Railways on Sunday announced and sanctioned Rs 261.97 crore to redevelop the Faridabad railway station into a world-class station. According to the plans, the railway station is set to have the resemblance of airports, with separate segregations for arrivals and departures.
Two buildings will be constructed and connected through a wide concourse with a waiting area, a shopping plaza and a food court. Passengers will be able to avail of amenities such as help desks and ticket booking kiosks.

The station will also have a multi-level car parking with a capacity to house 250 four-wheelers and 350 two-wheelers, along with lifts and escalators that are disabled-friendly.
So far, under the station redevelopment plan, the master plan, circulation plan, station building plan, the multi-level car parking and the north foot over the bridge have been approved.
