Delhi News Live Updates: With heavy rains lashing Delhi on Tuesday and waterlogging being reported in several areas of the city, the Delhi traffic police have issued several advisories, urging commuters to plan their journeys carefully and follow alternate routes as suggested by authorities.
Due to waterlogging at GTK Bus Depot, commuters travelling from Singhu Border (NH44) to Model Town or Kingsway Camp are advised to take a left turn at Mukarba Chowk, continue on Outer Ring Road, take a right at Mukandpur Flyover onto Road No. 51, and then take a U-turn from Azadpur Chowk to proceed towards their destination.
For those travelling from Model Town or Kingsway Camp towards Mukarba Chowk and NH44, the advisory recommends taking a right turn from Azadpur Chowk, following Road No 51, joining the Outer Ring Road via Mukandpur Chowk, and then proceeding towards NH44 or Singhu Border.
Traffic has also been affected on Bhishma Pitamah Marg in the carriageway from Lodhi Road towards Kotla due to waterlogging at the roundabout near Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Similarly, Ring Road is experiencing congestion in the carriageway from Sarai Kale Khan towards INA Market because of waterlogging near Seva Nagar Bus Depot at Barapulla.
