The decision follows the imposition of GRAP-3 restrictions in the national capital on Tuesday. The GRAP-3 restrictions were imposed on Tuesday, following a sharp deterioration of the air quality in Delhi from from the ‘very poor’ to the ‘severe’ category, prompting the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) to activate Stage III of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP).
NIA to investigate Red Fort blast case: The Centre on Tuesday decided to hand over the probe into the explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort, which killed at least 13 people and injured several others, to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), sources said. The decision was taken during a high-level security review meeting chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence.

Expanding EV infra: To generate revenue for Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), the Delhi government is planning to expand its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure by establishing charging facilities for heavy commercial vehicles at nine depots across the city, officials said on Saturday. The depots where commercial EV stations will be set up are located in Rohini’s Sector 37, Keshopur, Nangloi, Kalkaji, Sukhdev Vihar, Keshopur, Nand Nagri, Ghazipur and Hasanpur.
