“While landings and take off continues at Delhi airport, flights that are not CAT III compliant may get affected. Passengers are requested to contact the airline concerned for updated flight information,” the advisory said.
All runways at IGI Airport are operating under CAT-III conditions, with the Runway Visual Range (RVR) ranging between 75 and 300 metres.

Till now, over 100 flights have been delayed on arrival and departure from the airport.
Meanwhile, dense fog at the New Delhi Railway Station and nearby areas led to extremely low visibility, causing the delay of as least 26 trains on Wednesday morning.
This comes as Delhi remains gripped by the cold wave, which is currently persisting in many parts of northern India. The minimum temperature in the national capital settled at 6 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, while the maximum temperature is likely to touch 18 degrees Celsius.
