UP leg of Bharat Jodo Yatra begins tomorrow: Here is the traffic advisory

A large number of pedestrians and vehicles are expected to join Congress' Bharat Jodo Yatra at various points along the route, police said.

With the Uttar Pradesh leg of the Bharat Jodo Yatra set to start Tuesday, the Ghaziabad Police have announced a set of traffic diversions and restrictions. They are as follows:

All traffic will be barred between the Ghaziabad-Delhi border at Loni and the Ghaziabad-Baghpat border at Mandola.

Heavy vehicles coming from Baghpat to Delhi and Ghaziabad will have to use various peripheral routes.

Small vehicles coming from the Pusta direction in Delhi can go via the Vijay Vihar police outpost to Sonia Vihar and Baghpat.

Small vehicles coming to Ghaziabad via Baghpat will have to go via Teela Mod.

Small vehicles going from Ghaziabad to Baghpat via the Loni T-point will be able to go via Banthala Chirodi Marg.

Heavy vehicles coming from Ghaziabad to Baghpat via Loni can use the peripheral route via Rajnagar Extension.

All traffic from Bandhla towards the Loni T-point will be barred.

Traffic from the Delhi Golchakkar to the Loni border will be barred, and must proceed via Tulsi Niketan and the Bhopura T-point.
