The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is working on ensuring the smooth implementation of the land pooling policy in the Capital, South Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri said on Saturday, citing a communication in this regard from Union Minister Manohar Lal.
Bidhuri had, during the Zero Hour in the Lok Sabha, recently raised a query regarding the status of the DDA’s land pooling scheme and Green Development Area (GDA) policy. Delhi, Bidhuri had sought to argue, was “becoming a slum” due to the formation of unauthorised colonies without any planning.
Responding to the former Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, the Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister, in a written communication, stated that online applications can be made to join the land pooling policy through a portal that is open till April 30.
