DDA launches new housing scheme: Check out details of flats, locations, discounts

Two DDA housing schemes launched earlier this year – DDA Sabka Ghar Awaas Yojana and DDA Shramik Awaas Yojana – had offered flats at a discounted rate for only certain sections of the people, such as construction workers and autorickshaw drivers, among others.

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) on Tuesday launched a new housing scheme, under which 7,500 flats would come up for sale at Narela, Loknayak Puram, and Siraspur.

The scheme, ‘DDA Apna Ghar Awaas Yojana 2025’, was launched by Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena. The DDA is offering these flats at a discount ranging from 15%-25%. Also, anyone above the age of 18 can buy these flats on a first-come-first-serve basis, the agency said in a statement.

Demand for DDA flats at Narela has picked up recently, the agency said in the statement. Developments like the Delhi Cabinet approving the Rithala-Narela-Kundli corridor of the Delhi Metro, various universities planning to set up campuses, and the decision to construct an international sports complex, “have played a catalytic role in making Narela a preferred choice of buyers”, it added.
