Two aspiring students who attempted to rob an ATM of the Indian Bank in the Janakpuri market complex after watching YouTube videos were arrested.

2 students held for ATM robbery attempt,stole idea from YouTube
New Delhi:
Two aspiring students who attempted to rob an ATM of the Indian Bank in the Janakpuri market complex after watching YouTube videos were arrested on Friday morning. The accused,Hardik Shrivastava and Chanchal Gupta,reportedly wanted to secure admission in engineering colleges,and wanted money to fund their studies. V Renganathan,DCP (West) said,”We arrested them this morning from a park near Ghanta Ghar in Hari Nagar.” A police patrolling team found the boys’ motorcycle parked in the bushes.

16-year-old stabbed to death in Ghaziabad
NEW DELHI:
A 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Loni,Ghaziabad,when he tried to prevent thieves from stealing an LPG cylinder from his house on Friday morning. Police said the incident happened around 4.30 am in Ram Park,when the boy,Vishal Singh,noticed that an LPG cylinder had gone missing from his house. Around 5.30 am,he noticed three men hiding nearby. “When he started questioning them,they stabbed him to death and fled,” said Senior Superintendent of Police Raghubir Lal. Vishal was a student of Class 10 at a private school in Loni. A case of murder has been registered.

Two minor girls rescued from Gurgaon
GURGAON:
Two minors were rescued from Gurgaon on Friday. One of them,a native of Damdim village in West Bengal,has alleged that she was gangraped. Sources said the 15-year-old girl was allegedly brought to the city by train. In the second incident,another underaged girl from Jharkhand — brought to Gurgaon by a placement agency — was rescued.

Three injured in road accident
GURGAON:
Three persons were injured when a truck rammed into their car on Sohna Road here on Friday. According to police,the truck — which was travelling in the opposite direction — lost control and ran over the divider to hit the Tata Indigo. The driver of the car is said to be critical. The truck driver fled.

Traffic constables suspended for extortion
NEW DELHI:
Two traffic constables were suspended on Friday for extortion and being drunk on duty. Joint Commissioner of Police Satyendra Garg said,”They were caught in the act in Palam on Wednesday night.”
