Deshpande plays the bicycle-riding sutradhar in Zee TVs show Bhagowali- Baatein Apni Taqdeer and narrates a story based in Uttar Pradesh. We only hope that his rustic appeal,great baritone and acting skills do not get side-lined like they did in the film Swades.
