A fine knock by Prashant (87) and Rahul (54) helped Balajee Academy beat New Star Club by 5 wickets in the Lala Ram Charan memorial under-16 cricket tournament at Dharam Pal Sports Complex ground. Three-wicket hauls by Leela Dhar (3/25) and Pulkit (3/36) also helped Balajee restrict New Star to 220.

Bishnoi hits 95-ball ton
A spectacular 95-ball century by Chetanya Bishnoi helped his team Kranti Star thrash Super Star Club by a massive 219-run margin at the Najafgarh ground in the DDCA League. Bishnoi hit 11 4s and two 6s for his 104-run unbeaten knock. Contributions from Amish Kapoor (30 no),Rajkumar (35) and Veneet Rana (36) further added to the 322-run total. Good bowling spells by Adnan Mirza (4/11) and Lakshay (3/5) made sure that the entire Super Star team was all out for a little over 100 runs.

Delhi Ranji player Chetan Sharma’s unbeaten 142 run knock helped Telefunken Club to reach the semi-final of the 1st Sahil Cricket T20 Tournament. Vikas Hatwala (49) and Ankit (34) helped add to the total and Pankaj (3/44) and Deepak Khatry (2/41) bowled some disciplined spells to beat RS Sports by 55 runs at the Lodhi state ground .

A fine all-round display by India U-19 player Manan Sharma who hit a half-century (56) and took three wickets (3/22) helped Sonnet Club beat Subhania Club by 49 runs. Sharma received contributions at the other end from Dhruv Singh (56) and Abhishek Batra (41 runs and 2/21). Sonnet has now entered the semi-final of the 4th Ganga Open Cricket Tournament at Ganga International school,Hiran Kudna.

Cricket camp for u-16 boys
Niz Sports Delhi is organising a coaching camp at Kunkhet district,Nainital from April 12 in which 30 boys of under-16 age group from different clubs of Delhi will be coached by BCCI’s trained coaches. Six opening batsmen,10 middle order batsmen,8 medium pacers,4 spinners and 2 wicket keepers have been selected to attend the camp.
