Tarun Gupta hit a half century (70) while inspired bowling by Shantanu (3/5) and Rahul Tibatiya (2/22) helped Mount Abu Academy beat Hari Nagar Complex by 63 runs in the 1st United U-14 cricket tournament at Mangolpuri ground. Batting first Mount Abu were dismissed for 155 without playing out the allotted 30 overs. Thankfully for them Hari Nagar produced an even more abject display with the bat as they crumbled to 92 all out with 3 overs to spare.

Rathore win easily
Sanjay Vishwakarma (88) and Aditya Tomar (62) cracked half centuries while Prem Kaushik (3/30) Kapil Rana (3/34) and Rajiv Singh (2/37) performed with the ball as Rathore Cricket Academy got the better of G.M Academy by 67 runs in the 1st Laurent U-19 cricket tournament at Najafgarh ground. Govind Malik’s ton (109) went in vain for the losers.

Bowling wins it for Rose
Useful bowling performances by Puskal Kumar (3/20) and Suraj Verma (3/25) went hand in hand with batting display’s from Jitu Kumar (47),Abhinav (35) and Ajay Singh (32) as Rose India trounced Sumit Dugal Academy by 60 run in the KRD cricket tournament at Parmarth ground.

Decent batting efforts from Amit Yadav (58) Sanjeev Tomar (42) along with useful contributions with the ball from Sumit Antil (3/21) were the key to Balaji Cricket Academy beating New Police Line Academy by 8 wickets in the 1st Balaji cricket tournament at Man Public School,Holambi Kal.

Defending champions The Air Force School (TAFS),Subroto Park and Bal Bharati School,Mayur Vihar Phase-III won the South Zone and East Zone leg of DSA-Coca Cola Inter School tournament being played for the Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy 2010 sub-junior National Championship. The Air Force School,Subroto Park defeated spirited Apeejay School,Malviya Nagar 4-3 via tie-breaker,after being goalless in the final match of South Zone leg held at Guru Harkishan Public School,Vasant Vihar. In East Zone final,Bal Bharati School,Mayur Vihar Phase-III defeated Alcon School,MV Phase-III 4-1 via tie-breaker,again after being locked goalless.
