Football trials from July 1
The Delhi Soccer Association(DSA) will hold an open trials-cum -coaching camp from July 1 at 2.30 p.m. at Janaki Devi Memorial College,Rajinder Nagar ,New Delhi to select Delhi state junior girls football team for participation in the 9th Junior Girls National Football Championship scheduled to be held at Chandigarh from July 15 to 30. The players born on or after 1.1.1992 are eligible to participate in the championship. Interested players may report to Dr.Mukesh Saggar or OP Malhotra or Hem Chand or Anadi Barua on July 1 at 2.30 at JDM college alongwith their original date of birth certificates.

Ish Kaushal of Chandigarh defeated Kunal Garg of Delhi to move in the second round by 12-57,44-40,63-27 in the ongoing P Upendra Memorial North Zone School Snooker Championship that is being held in Rohini. In the other matches,Vicky outclassed Shariq Khan by 50-41,50-36 while Ahish Arora drubbed Aman Chauhan by 39-14,33-23. Abdul Rasiq beat Kartik Dhawan by 59-37,86-04.
