Cricket tourney from July 26
The 1st Indian Bright Cup Open cricket tournament will start from July 26 at Ramjas Sports Complex ground. The tournament will see top 16 teams vying for a cash prize of Rs 61000 to winner and Rs 31000 to the runners up. Matches will be played on league cum knock out basis. Delhi to face MP in opener

In DSA A division premier football league,Veterans FC trounced Friends United FC by a massive margin of 8-0. In a strictly one sided match,two Veterans player scored hat tricks. Jatinder Kumar Soni struck in the 3rd,45th and 51st minute while Bablu scored in the 7th,15th and 43rd minute. On a day when one of the matches got washed away,Friends United FC had only nine players on the field.
