He turned Hollywood movies into Malayalam movies,and Malayalam movies into Hindi movies and we went along with him,laughing all the way,seldom taking him seriously or wondering greatly about his oeuvre. But Priyadarshan did make us think twice when his movie Kanjeevaram won the National Award for the Best Film. After receiving the award,Priyan Sir is back to a Bollywood comedy,De Dana Dan . Akshay Kumar,Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal are my three musketeers and I hope De Dana Dan revives the Hera Pheri magic, he says. After 25 years in filmmaking,Priyadarshan is left with one wish to work with Amitabh Bachchan. I want to write a script especially for him and Im waiting for him to agree to work with me. That is my only unfulfilled desire for now.
