The shining logo of a leaping jaguar,on the chrome grill of cars,has come to symbolise luxury and speed. Now,the jaguar has arrived in India . British car brand Jaguar and the famous SUV Land Rover have launched a range of luxury sedans and sports utility
vehicles in India.
A launch party was hosted by Gurmeet Singh Anand,Managing Director of AMP Motors,dealer for both brands in Delhi,on the lawns of British High Commissioner Sir Richard Staggs residence.
Amid the champagne and cocktail snacks,corporates and diplomats,including the Pakistan High Commissioner Shahid Malik and his wife,checked out the cars on display luxury sedan models like XJ,XF and XK,and premium SUVs from Land Rover like Freelander 2,Discovery 4,Range Rover Sport and the Range Rover. The cars are priced between Rs 34 lakh and Rs 1.6 crore. (EFS)
