As many as 875 people were fined on Saturday for violating the car-rationing 'odd-even' scheme. On the ninth day of implementing the scheme, police said they have penalised 203 motorists for violating the vehicular restriction norms as against yesterday's figure of 136. The enforcement teams of the government's transport department fined 48 motorists, while revenue department booked 624 people.
