It’s their first independent project,and to get things right,they’ve changed the working title from ‘Begunah’ ‘Chase’. The film’s a Maverick Production and has Anuj Saxena in the lead along with Udita Goswami,Samir Kochar,Aditya Raj Kapoor,Tarina Patel,Rajesh Khattar and Shweta Menon. Incidentally,Saxena is also the karta-dharta of Maverick. A thriller,Chase is directed by Provoked-fame director Jagmohan Mundhra. Meanwhile,as part of its expansion process,Maverick Production house is coming up with three films this year – they’ve co-produced ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ starring Shahrukh Khan,Sushmita Sen and Fardeen Khan,along with Adlabs and Insight Productions. Before this,it was Aloo Chaat starring Aftab Shivdasani and Aamna Shariff. For the uninitiate,Maverick’s also left its mark in the field of advertising,TV soaps and various documentaries. As part of its distribution work,they’ve carried out distribution for films like ‘Om Shanti Om’,‘Cash’ and many more.
