Strengthening its prime time programme line-up,Animal Planet introduces a new high octane time band – The Hunt at 8 pm. The one-hour band will showcase nature’s predators in their raw and merciless form every night,Monday to Sunday,from 8pm to 9pm. The show will bring the fiercest and hair raising action from the wild. Viewers will meet top filmmakers,encounter the unexpected and unearth some of the astonishing wildlife stories. From the Grizzly bears catching salmon in Alaska rivers,spiders that roll down dunes in the desert to evade predators,gazelle who can reach speeds of up to 45mph when trying to escape a big cat on the plains of Africa,to the tuna fish who can swim as fast as 50mph to escape the jaws of a mako shark in the Pacific ocean; the special programming band will delve deep into the lives of the most incredible animals inhabiting our planet.
