Training Command fly high after Sameer’s superb show

Buoyed by four goals scored by Sameer,Training Command scored an emphatic 9-0 win over Air Headquarters in a match in the Air Force Inter-Command Hockey Championship being played at Sector 42 Hockey Stadium on Thursday.

Buoyed by four goals scored by Sameer,Training Command scored an emphatic 9-0 win over Air Headquarters in a match in the Air Force Inter-Command Hockey Championship being played at Sector 42 Hockey Stadium on Thursday. Training Command forwards showed supremacy through out the match and propelled their team to a much needed win in the tournament.

Sameer opened the account for Training Command in the opening minute of the match before Nagu scored a goal in the second minute of the match. Nagu again scored in the 14th minute before scoring another goal in the 26th minute of the match. Pradeep Kumar scored a goal in the 37th minute before Sameer scored another goal in the 41st minute. Sameer again struck in the 52nd minute before scoring another goal in the 68th minute. Pradeep Kumar scored another goal in the 68th minute to set up the 9-0 win.

In another match of the day,Western Air Command scored an emphatic 5-1 win over Maintenance Command. Alam was the star of the day for WAC as he scored two goals in the 12th and 67th minute respectively. Major and S Singh scored one goal each while Prabhakar also scored one goal for the winning team.

In the last match of the day,Eastern Air Command drew with Southern Western Command 1-1. Dilram scored a goal for fro EAC while Sumar Ali scored the solitary goal for SWAC.
