Two persons accused of the murder of ASI Mohinder Singh,Incharge of Naneola police post,were awarded imprisonment of 10 years each by the court here on Saturday. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on each of them. On non-payment of the fine,the accused,Kuldip Singh alias Kirpa,resident of Mansa (Punjab) and Jagtar Singh,a resident of Badayun (Uttar Pradesh) will have to undergo six months imprisonment each. The two had opened fire on the ASI on October 8,2009 and escaped towards Punjab border. The ASI died on the spot. They were arrested in 2010.
