An inspired all-round performance from Sumeet (68 and 5 for 5) helped Services Delhi crush Royal Greater Club by 109 runs during the Cricket Challenger Cup T-20 at Tau Devi Lal stadium on Tuesday.

Sumeet was not only stingy but he also picked up wickets at regular intervals to bowl out the opposition team for a paltry total. Earlier,he had scored a match-winning 68 runs to help the team post a competitive total.

Batting first,Services Delhi made 152 for 3 in 15 overs. Sumeet made 68,while Irfan contributed 26 runs. Amit Verma picked up two wickets. In reply,Royal Greater Club were skittled out for 43.

Meanwhile,in another match,LIC Club beat CM-XI. Batting first,CM-XI made 120 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Tanveer top scored with 41 runs,while Yashpal added 30 runs to the team’s total score.

LIC Club chased down the total and made 126 in 16.1 overs. Gurkirat Mann hammered 70 runs off just 36 balls.

In the last match,ICL Group of Colleges humbled JCD Sirsa by 95 runs in a one-sided affair. ICL Group batted first and posted 184 runs for the loss of two wickets. Kaskaran Malhotra top scored with 84 runs,while Amardeep Sonakar and Har Krishan Kali contributed 42 and 32 runs,respectively. In reply,JCD Sirsa wre bowled out for 89. Kuldeep Hooda,Bablu Kumar and Harkrishan Kali took three wickets each.
