Two days after officially taking over the investigation into the murder of national-level shooter and corporate lawyer Sukhmanpreet Singh alias Sippy Sidhu, the CBI is all set to question all the suspects in the case, including the Punjab and Haryana High Court judge’s daughter whose role is suspected in the murder.

“We have asked the UT Police to submit all the details of the case, and also told them to hand over the iPhone of Sippy Sidhu which is a vital source of information. Officials have started the investigation after registering an FIR,” confirmed the CBI official.
Meanwhile, Sippy’s Sidhu’s family members tried to meet the CBI officials on Monday but they could not as some of the senior officials investigating the case had gone to Delhi.
On Saturday, the CBI registered an FIR against unknown persons to initiate a fresh probe into the case. The agency took over the investigation after the case was transferred to it on January 22 on the recommendations of Punjab and Haryana Governor Kaptaan Singh Solanki.
