On this day, my wishes and prayers were fulfilled when I held you close to my chest for the first time and realized that the Almighty had blessed me with a son as a divine blessing. Those little feet had a slight reddish hue, and who could have known that those small steps had traveled the world while still being in the village, and those big eyes through which you saw and recognized the truth. I didn’t know that you were going to give the Punjab generation a different perspective on the world. You may not be physically present around me, but I feel your presence everywhere. I am remembering you even more today.”
